Taurus New Moon: What root system are you ready to nurture and nourish?
Also, a mini-session on planetary cycles and phases, and an invitation for your Jupiter in Taurus
I was reminded this passed Saturday that the people around me are not my enemies or competitors. I was reminded that my greatest enemies and competitors actually reside in my mind. I was reminded that I now have plenty of tools to defuse the situation for myself and not let my self get sucked back into the vortex of fear and anxiety around rejection, approval and validation.
This opened up a whole new exploration around my 8th House placements and planetary cycles and the phases they go through, which I’ll talk about below and will invite you to do your own investigation on.
“Your true enemies are your own misguided thoughts, your reactive emotions and everything in you that wrestles you away from the present moment. It’s time to stop trying to force things to go a certain way, just because your mind tells you so.”
Rory Aronson, The Wisdom Keepers Inner Guide
This letter was also inspired by Ellen’s observation on Jupiter moving into Taurus which felt very fitting to the ego trip I went on last Saturday.
I won’t bore you with the details but something external triggered my past trauma of rejection. I fell hard into the comparison trap and allowed the external source to diminish and belittle my own power. The external source had nothing to do with it. They were simply embodying their unique self out in the world and I felt threatened.
I’m inserting a paywall this early because the rest of the essay is more personal and vulnerable. Plus the mini-session on planetary cycles was a true labour of love but it took a great amount of effort.
