START HERE: A warm welcome to the Untrodden Path
Ready to explore what it truly means to pave your own path through this life whilst doing soul nourishing work out in the world?
Part-time Librarian, part-time Breathwork and Cosmic Wisdom guide paving her spacious, empowering, soul nourishing Untrodden Path
Hey, fellow wanderer. I’m Silvia, a part-time Librarian living in the luscious Leicestershire countryside where I spend most of my time reading, researching, gazing at the clouds, playing basketball with my partner, or simply meandering and pondering on life and the mystery of it all.
Something else I love to do is slow travel across Europe. I was born in Estonia and used to always fly back and forth to visit family. But in the last few years, me and my partner have made a whole adventure of it and chosen to travel by ferries, buses and trains. The images you’ll encounter in this post are mementos from these journeys.
My real passion is spreading the self-healing power of Breathwork and Human Design as these two modalities have been a massive validation and permission slip to simply be me and do this life on my terms. You could say I am very persistent in (read: stubborn) doing this life on my terms by paving my own Untrodden Path. And, I am not gonna lie, sometimes it feels a little lonely.
Hence why I decided to write about the whole process in the hopes that you, dear reader and fellow wanderer, might feel more empowered to do things your way as that is where the real magic happens.
The magic of our own breath
When I feel like my physical world is too much, I close my eyes and return to the beach on Öland, one of my many resource points.1 I breathe in on the count of five. I breathe out on the count of five. And I repeat it for as long as I need. Naturally, eventually, my body settles and my heart space opens to the true beauty of this world and the universe.
It is in these moments I am truly one with everything.
It is in these moments I am fully trusting this untrodden path that lies ahead.
It is in these moments I witness the magic of this world instead of all the horror.
After a while, I am ready to return and sprinkle some of that love and magic onto the world that cries out for it.
It is then I can see the path that lies ahead, the path laden with love and magic.
Here’s an evergrowing playlist for our journey:
Following the curiosity
When I look at the one thread that runs through my entire life it’s curiosity. It has led me in so many different, contradictory directions. At times, it has been fuelled with the wrong kind of intentions. At others, I’ve been so close to something bigger than me that the overwhelm of it all made me freeze up.
But there comes a point when we gotta ask ourselves whether the fear is bigger than the discomfort of growth and evolution.
Self-doubt can be a real party pooper. It can destroy our wildest dreams. But then I see the magic of this universe and I can’t help but be in awe of the chances having ended up here. It would be a real downer to let fear get in the way of it all.
And so it is.
I stand here in front of you, with the fear still present but not paralyzing.
I stand here in front of you, with the fear still present but the desire to follow this deep soul calling has a stronger pull.
I stand here in front of you, with the fear still present, inviting you to walk with me, breathe with me, explore with me, and discover your inner realms with me.
BIO:
After a lifetime of searching and experimenting with an array of degrees, projects, jobs, and ventures, Silvia finally stumbled on breathwork that changed everything for her. From the very first breathwork session, Silvia knew that this was the self-healing medicine she wanted to bring to the world. Her creative self-expression unleashed through the powerful magic of breath, music, and spoken words.
Silvia combines her love and curiosity of astrology, Gene Keys and Human Design with breathwork to empower her fellow creative wanderers in paving their path through this life and sharing their creative magic with this world. Silvia’s sessions are spaces for deep self-exploration and self-discovery. She does not shy away from the dark and dingy corners, instead, she holds up the lantern, grabs your hand, and explores the darkness with you so that you can start rewriting the stories that no longer serve you.
Yeah, it is kinda weird talking about yourself in the third person (“What her?”) but it seems to be a thing for bios, right?
TEACHERS:
Astrology, Human Design, and the Gene Keys:
Britten LaRue through her astrology container Charting the Course in 2021-2022 and her Moon to Moon podcast, as well as The Magician’s Table: a workshop circle for emerging readers in spring 2023.
Richard Rudd through The Activation Sequence of the Gene Keys, summer of 2022.
My astrology practice is hugely influenced by the written works of Dane Rudhyar and his planetary cycles, Richard Tarnas and his book Cosmos and Psyche, as well as evolutionary astrology through the work of Steven Forrest and Jeffrey Wolf Green. Worthy mention also goes to Demetra George and her work with the asteroids. Plus countless of podcast episodes, YouTube videos, and more by Adam Sommer, Gemini Brett, Chris Brennan, Jonathan Koe, Renn Butler, Jeff Hinshaw, and many, many more.
As a 3/5, my Human Design practice is mostly rooted in personal experience and experimentation. Although I’ve learned from people like Ra Uru Hu (the founder of Human Design), Amy Lee and John Cole, Amy Lea, Christie Inge, Jasmine Nnenna, Karen Curry Parker, The Wild Pixel, Kim Gould, and so many more, I always return to my own process, for my own experiment because that has been the greatest teacher.
Stress, trauma, nervous system, breathwork, and space holding:
Luis Mojica through his 6-week course on Finding Safety in Yourself, fall of 2023, and his treasure trove of podcast episodes.
Alchemy of Breath conscious connected breathwork facilitator training, due to graduate in June 2024.
The HeartMath Experience on heart coherence breathing, fall of 2023.
The Circle School with Mitlé Southey, currently participating in self-paced courses on sharing circles and holding space.
Countless books, podcasts, and YouTube videos. Great teachers such as Peter Levine, Gabor Mate, Prema McKeever, Steph Magenta, and many, many more.
What the Untrodden Path offers
OK, so now that the official stuff is out of the way, I want to name some consistent elements to the space of The Untrodden Path.
Letters from the Untrodden Path is a semi-regular digital zine for fellow creative travellers who are paving their wild and magical paths with love, devotion and conviction. The zine is filled with visual meditations, a feature piece on a specific topic, seasonal vision boards and journal prompts, and much more.
Walking Each Other Home will take you, dear reader, behind the thought process of creating the Letters from the Untrodden Path. You’ll hear me read the feature piece with running commentary. Think of it as one of those director commentaries over the movies that we used to get on DVDs.
The Sacred Pause is a space to gather and be with oneself and with each other. This space is infused with breath and cosmos and it invites us into the present moment. Some gatherings may be live and others may be pre-recorded meditations and breathwork journeys and practices. Think of this as your creative self-care toolkit: body-led, soul-oriented practices for more presence, trust and calmness in your life.
The Undergrowth is a paid backstage pass to my 3/5 Sacral process of building a business that feels spacious, empowering and soul nourishing.
In Hindsight holds personal reflections on cosmic wisdom, aka Human Design, astrology and the Gene Keys. As always, they will pose universal questions to us all.
As I’ve pondered on the word experimentation to be my guiding light this year, I feel it only fitting to see what happens if I do commit to what matters the most.
What happens if I stop playing small and instead show up in my power?
What happens if I rewild and recollect my inner power?
What happens if I stop hiding behind the excuses of why I think I shouldn’t be seen and heard?
I do hope you’ll journey with me.
Deep breath,
Silvia
P.S. What brought you here? Tell us about the path you’re walking and the words that guide you.
A resource point is a physical place, person or thing, or a place in your body that makes you feel safe and grounded in who you are.
So beautiful to read this Silvia, and feel the deep knowing beneath your words 🙏🩷
Beautiful re-introduction and evolution of your heart work! X
