This long and hot week has exerted my mental capacity and my physical energy,
and yet I feel the presence of this card today, the receptive nature of the Moon in all of us, our inner wisdom, our inner knowing and trust in exactly what it is we need.
I gifted myself a slow long morning in bed with a delicious cup of coffee and a great book that I could not put down and, to Nick’s surprise, ended up reading til the end. If you’re like me who loves a great lighthearted full-of-heart fiction book every now and again, Mariana Zapata’s “All Rhodes Lead Here” is highly recommended. Still bathing in its magic.
The ebbing and flowing of life, of energy, the dance between doing and resting.
Today is a day of rest.
A day of coming back to inner calm.
Recentering. Reconnecting.
Purifying from other people’s struggles.
Wringing out the emotional sponge of the busyness, the noise.
Cleansing from the energy of others that’s weighing on the shoulders.
Allowing the ripples of the inner waters to soften.
Following the path inward to the still mountaintop within.
Trusting that this is the wisdom that needed to emerge today from this tired body through this card. Trusting that maybe you too need to hear these words, and be reminded to take a moment to recentre yourself, to reconnect with your energetic being, to wring out your emotional sponge that may have collected too much of everyone else’s troubles.
What can you give yourself today that you’ll thank yourself for tomorrow?
Jo, sending you lots of love. What a wonderful gift you have given yourself. And please do let me know what you think of the book, and the audio version. I found myself reading reviews of it today only to keep the magic going. Definitely feeling that post-read hangover. :)
Oh these words are perfect for me today, thank you. And I just gifted myself the audio version of “All Rhodes… “ 😊
