What pops into your mind when you think about being seen?
Personally, the words being+seen fill me with dread.
As I journaled on it this morning, a connection with my Sun appeared. I was born in the morning as the Sun was just below the horizon, not quite in full beam yet. In a way, I feel like this is my life’s story - not allowing myself to be in full beam, not allowing myself to shine fully, doubting my desires to be seen, doubting my worthiness, the worthiness of my words, of my knowing, of my creativity. Trying to put an external value on it all and failing to validate my own creativity.
In a way, this is what Daily Wild is about - learning to validate one’s own creativity.
I was called to inquire about it through the wisdom of the Tarot that lives in me, that lives in all of us. These words emerged.
“This is me in all my nakedness.
In all my wholeness.
In all my totality.
This is me stepping through the portal into the open fields of creative wildness.
This is me leaning on the unconditional trust of my body, the world and all its beings.
Naked. Bare. Vulnerable. Open. Receptive.
Feeding from the breasts of my shame.
Fueling the creative fire that wants to be liberated.
This is me allowing myself to be seen in my full beam.”
Give yourself permission to be seen
