Today, I am inviting in gentleness and tenderness as the Inner Winter has reached the Equinox. A new season is slowly emerging. With it, new wisdom is surfacing from deep within the body. To think I used to hate this bodily function, to see it as a nuisance. Now, I welcome it for all these wonderful insights and its wildness, the possibilities it holds, and the chance to reconnect with one’s body.
Today’s card reminds us of the boundaries to have for ourselves, to not force ourselves into “productivity mode” and to tread lightly, to rest, recuperate, and check in where we might be wearing ourselves thin. What a wonderful reminder!
Life is but a long spiralling cycle.
Each ending follows a beginning follows an ending,
seamlessly flowing into each other.
“I’ve been here before but it feels different.”
“I’ve been here before but I feel different.”
As the completion of an inner cycle flows into the beginning again,
cleansing happens, recycling happens, and re-emerging happens.
Oh, blood, what wisdom do you have for me this time around?
P.S. As a gentle reminder to you, dear reader, if ever these daily bite-sized contemplations get too overwhelming, you can update your subscription below.
