“It took 13.8 billion years for this moment to get here, and every single thing had to happen exactly as it did - but I don’t like it.”
As I read that quote from Michael A. Singer’s book “Living Untethered” on my lunch break yesterday, I couldn’t help but laugh out loud at my own self-imposed stuckness and frustration. I’d somehow disconnected myself from the universe and rambled in the darkness, willingly, in the Pluto underworld.
(Turns out I have been having a lot of Pluto activations in my natal chart for the past few weeks. First Mercury and then Sun. And others are to follow. Plus my ongoing Pluto square Pluto.)
Something in that moment shifted in me. That realisation pulled me out of the Pluto underworld back into the now, the big and awe-inspiring universe that we all inhabit.
Yet, we humans, get very stuck in our heads. The mind wants what the mind wants, right?
The words below oozed out this morning. May they invite you to loosen your grip on your life. May they invite you to pause and glance at this wonder that we get to be a part of.
Isn’t that magnificent?
Slowly unwinding the grasp
that has been digging into life.
A call to stop chasing the wind and the clouds it blows in.
Take a moment and follow them across the sky with your eyes.
Be with the discomfort the unwinding of the grasp has left.
Be with the bloody marks on your palm the gripping has caused.
Allow it all to ooze out of you.
Allow the pain, the fears, and the insecurities all to pour out onto the page.
Don’t think, just follow the pen. Surprise yourself.
This is your unshackling from the chains of time.
How can you connect/reconnect with the wonder of the universe today?
